The poems in this book are a bridge between Sufi embodied experiences and a Black girl from the south side of Chicago with Mississippi and African ancestors in search of personal knowledge and a relationship with God. This book is between the intersections of sacred spiritual Sufi poetry, Islamic mystical moments, and Black Atlantic diaspora dimensions.
